I am headed to Pensacola on Monday to begin the start up phase of the Perdido Power Plant. Perdido is located at the Escambia County Landfill, owned by Gulf Power Company and designed, built and operated by LFG Technologies. The plant includes two CAT 3520C generators and will be expanded to four generators as landfill gas permits.
We expect the start up to take about a week. Once we have completed the Performance testing the project will enter normal operations. The open house is scheduled in October and if you would like to attend, please let me know via this blog and we will be happy to get you an invite.
